Many of John Steinbeck's novels and novelas have been made into novels throughout the years. The movie based off of Steinbeck's novel The Grapes of Wrath, as well as many others, bring the imagery to life. Click here for a list of movies.

The Center for Steinbeck Studies

This center is located at San Jose State Univerisity. The center has just relocated so it will have more room for Steinbeck!

This is a map of route 66; a common traveling ro ute for imigrants such as the Joad Family. This is a great way to see the route taken by many characters of Steinbeck's novels. This site provides maps for seven of Steinbeck's California novels.
