Other "Technology Solutions" offered by Academic Publisher Allyn and Bacon

In addition to the companion websites and companion CDs, Allyn and Bacon invite instructors

 

to arrange "Online Coursepacks" (whereby the instructor e-mails relevant handouts, syllabi, etc. to A+B for them to upload into a web site for your particular class),

to create a "Custom Companion Website" (whereby the instructors of over 250 students annually get to have the existing companion websites modified to meet the individual needs of a class or teaching style),

to have students communicate and collaborate with one another using Daedalus Online,

to augment presentations with Allyn and Bacon archives of images and PowerPoint presentations,

to offer students inexpensive interactive CD-ROMs that are relevant to class topics and practices,

to take advantage of pre-constructed content that can be used with Course Management Systems (like WebCT),

to be "trained" in these technological tools at their Technology Training Website,

and to design better tests.
